ARTEMIS is proud to introduce the MFI30WL, a high-precision instrument engineered for the rigorous quality control of polymer materials. As Melt Flow Index (MFI) remains a critical industry benchmark, the MFi30 is designed to provide exact mass flow rate ($g/10min$) measurements under strictly controlled temperature and pressure conditions.
 

Precision Engineering & Compliance

The MFI30WL features a dedicated microprocessor and an intuitive 7” touchscreen interface. It is fully compliant with Methods A, B, and C, as well as Method D (Flow Rate Ratio - FRR) when utilized with the integrated pneumatic weight loader.

To ensure the highest level of data integrity, the system adheres to international standards including ASTM D1238, ASTM D3364, ISO 1133, and DIN 53735.
 

Key Technical Features

• High-Resolution Measurement: Equipped with a 10k PPR rotary encoder, the unit delivers ultra-precise piston displacement measurements for Methods B, C, and D.

• Automated Sampling: An integrated Auto Cut Device ensures accurate, repeatable sample weights at predefined intervals.

• Advanced Analytics: The system automatically calculates MFR, MVR, Viscosity, Shear Stress, Shear Rate, and Intrinsic Viscosity.

• Live Data Analysis: Multi-slicing capabilities provide real-time graphical analysis and tabular results, eliminating the need for manual material cutting during testing.

• LABLogic+ Integration: Test results are displayed instantly and can be seamlessly exported to our dedicated LABLogic+ software platform for comprehensive reporting and auditing.

Comprehensive Standard Configuration

The MFI30WL is supplied as a turnkey solution to ensure immediate operational readiness.

The standard package includes:

• Pneumatic Weight Loader: For effortless and consistent load application.

• Starter Tooling: Standard discharge piston, precision test die, and a 2.16kg test load.

• Maintenance Suite: A full cleaning kit (cleaning rod, die tool, wire brush, and cotton cloths) and a Go/No-Go gauge to monitor die tolerances.

Customisation & Options

To accommodate specialized testing environments, we offer several enhancements:

• Corrosion Resistance: Hastelloy® barrels, pistons, and dies are available for testing corrosive polymers such as PVC.

• Expanded Load Range: Optional test loads ranging from 1.0kg to 21.6kg.

• Global Compatibility: Units are available in both 110-120v (60 Hz) and 220-240v (50 Hz) configurations.
